DIY Let Go release agent is semi permanent chemical release agent that provides an extremely reliable release for composite components from moulds and patterns. It works extremely well for the release of epoxy, vinyl ester and polyester component resins and can be used on a variety of tooling materials including PU tooling board, Epoxy tooling board, gel coated moulds such as the DIY Eco Tool system and Carbon Fibre pre-preg tools. Prior to the appplication of DIY Let Go release agent it is important that the tool surface is sealed with DIY Tool Sealer 27 to support in getting a consistant and repeatable release.

Application is extremely simple and can be done by hand by wiping on with an appropriate cloth. Once an initial coating of release agent is built up then minimal amounts of re-application are required helping to save in the production process. Please consult the product data sheet for full instuctions on applying DIY let go release agent.

The release agent itself is extremely moisture sensitive so it is critical that once the bottle is opened and the required amount of release agent has been taken out, that the bottle is immediatly tightly re-sealed allowing for the minimum potential of moisture absorbtion.
